Congratulation to Tina Weber, the first woman to be inducted in to the Natural Bodybuilding Hall of Fame

Tina started bodybuilding back in 1988. She describes how she fell into the sport: "I had been going to a Fitness center for aerobics classes when someone asked me if I had ever thought about weightlifting and bodybuilding. They told me about a local gym called the Body Shop. They had spoken to the owner about me and said I should drop by and speak with him.

"After speaking with the owner, I was soon hooked on the lifestyle and have been training ever since. I entered my first show in 1989, the NPC Upper Ohio Valley, winning the Heavyweight and the Overall [titles]. After that I entered a few other shows and then won the NPC West Virginia State championship in 1991. I had my eyes opened when I went in the NPC Junior USA . The girls were massive to say the least and "Natural" is a word I don't believe I would use to describe their training methods, but as Dennis Miller says "That's just my opinion. I could be wrong."

" I heard about the NGA and entered the American Natural in NYC. In my first three NGA shows I won the masters in each but was always the bridesmaid in the open Heavyweight class. I finally broke in to the Natural pro ranks by winning the overall and the masters in the 1995 NGA Natural Potomac Cup In Washington D.C. My goal of getting a natural pro card finally realized."

The 2006 Olympus was Tina's comeback, we were afraid her bodybuilding days were behind her after a bladder surgery gone wrong in Oct of 2005 and a 2nd surgery to repair the 1st, she had to have a catheter inserted for 65 days , unable to train for over 5 months, Tina had lost much of her size. She feels blessed to have a second chance to once again complete at the sport she loves.

Tina works as an LPN at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling

Age: 50, 5'6" 135lbs

Started training light around 1985, around 1986/87 made the decision to be a bodybuilder and never looked back.
